Upon entering the former daycare building, visitors immediately step onto the original tiled flooring from the time of construction. The tiles were produced by Villeroy & Boch, a company still renowned today for its high-quality craftsmanship. We carefully cleaned and preserved the flooring in place, despite some visible signs of wear. However, the landing on the high ground floor was in much worse condition, so we recreated the original ceramic mosaic using tiles manufactured in the prestigious Zahna-Fliesen GmbH, a company specializing in artistic architectural ceramics since 1891.
