The initiative to collect memorabilia and memories was announced in November 2020 and, despite the pandemic situation, it met with great response and interest from the residents of Poznan. Old photographs and documents were submitted primarily by people whose family or professional life was associated with Stara Rzeznia, but also by those who frequented its premises after its closure in the 1980s, when it hosted, among others, antique fairs, flea markets and occasional cultural events. Among the awarded works are unique photographs of the times when Stara Rzeznia operated during World War II, which, together with other awarded works, can be browsed through in the Digital Museum of the History of Poznan.
