The campaign to collect memorabilia and recollections related to the history of the Old Slaughterhouse, the former meat processing plant in Poznan, whose revitalization in the coming years will be carried out by Vastint Poland, has come to an end. The action and the accompanying competition were organised by CYRYL, a virtual museum of the history of Poznań, as part of the Posnania Municipal Publishing House. 

The impulse to organize the action was the awareness that the Old Slaughterhouse is irrevocably gone. The historical buildings will remain but their purpose will be changed fundamentally. The historic buildings from the late nineteenth and early twentieth century will be complemented with commercial, hotel, office and residential spaces, creating a multifunctional complex with a coherent functional layout.
